Shipping policy

We aim to have your order delivered as quickly as possible, please note the following:

  • ATS Healthcare and Canada Post are our preferred shipping couriers.
  • Please allow 2-3 business days from the order date for the order to be processed.
  • Orders that are placed during the holiday season or on long weekends may experience some delay.
  • Delivery times will vary depending on the location of your delivery, the date the order was received and weather conditions.
  • Deliveries may be delayed if weather is too hot or too cold and we feel that there is a high chance of damaging the wine in transit.
  • Orders are shipped Monday through Thursday, we do not ship on Friday, Saturday, Sunday or during statutory holidays.
  • Your order will be delivered Monday through Friday during regular business hours, a business address is strongly recommended.
  • Someone of legal drinking age will be required to sign for the package.

Shipping Rates

For your convenience we offer flat-rate shipping fees for online and phone orders as follows:

  • within British Columbia $27 plus tax (1-6 bottles), $34 plus tax (7+bottles);
  • within Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba $31 plus tax (1-6 bottles), $42 plus tax (7+bottles);
  • within Ontario & Quebec $37 plus tax (1-6 bottles), $50 plus tax (7+bottles);
  • within Atlantic Canada (NS, NB, PEI, NFL) $47 plus tax (1-6 bottles), $62 plus tax (7+bottles);
  • within the Yukon & Northwest Territories $47 plus tax (1-6 bottles), $72 plus tax (7+bottles);

Additional shipping rates may be required for some rural locations.

We do not ship to Nunavut.

We currently do not offer international shipping.

Alberta

As of April 2025, the Alberta Government has introduced a new fee structure for wines shipped directly to consumers from outside the province. This includes a flat charge of $3.08 per 750mL bottle, plus a tiered fee based on the retail price of each bottle. Due to the complexity of these fees, we will be applying a 14% admin fee on the pre-tax total of orders shipped to Alberta. While the actual fees we're required to remit to the AGLC are higher, we've chosen to cover the difference ourselves to simplify this for our customers. We appreciate your understanding, please get in touch with us if you have any questions about placing an order and the fees involved.

Other

  • Mayhem Wines is not responsible for additional shipping charges incurred due to misdirected, re-routed or re-shipped wines.
  • Mayhem Wines is not responsible for delays in delivering your wine if that delay or failure is caused by circumstances beyond our control.
  • Your email address is required upon order so that we can email you shipment notifications and tracking details. 
  • Your email address will be added to our email list upon checkout unless otherwise specified. At any time if you wish to unsubscribe from our email list you can simply unsubscribe.
