Grapes were sourced from the Naramata Bench. After fermentation in stainless steel tank, the wine was barreled down into a combination of new and seasoned French oak for an 18-month barrel ageing before being barreled out to tank to marry before bottling.
A toasty nose of plum, blueberry and raspberry. On the palate it is a medium body with tannin, and flavours of raspberry, black berry, baking spice and a minerality reminiscent of flint.

"This wine has the classic brambly aromas of flavours of the varietal, notably blackberry and black cherry. The wine is full on the palate. There is a lingering note of chocolate on the finish. 91."~ John Schreiner "A medium body with flavours of blueberry, blackberry, toasted oak, tobacco, and a hint of cinnamon. The finish is long, mouth-filling and warm with a fine fruit character and ripe tannins. Suggest you decant/aerate before serving. This needs time, five-to-seven years, to settle in and show its true merit. 90 Points."~ Julian Park, BC Wine Trends
